Commencing his medical education, he earned an MBBS degree from Karnataka Medical College in 1993. Subsequently, he pursued an MS degree from PGIMER, Chandigarh in 1997. Further enhancing his qualifications, he procured a DNB degree from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 2000 and thereafter secured an MRCS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK in 2005. We had a really nice experience! My mother had to undergo total knee replacement surgery due to severe arthritis. We chose to consult with Dr. Praveen for the surgery. Dr. Praveen was very professional from the very first consult. He carefully diagnosed my mom's condition and suggested surgery for a pain-free future. He explained the procedure in great detail so that both the patient and family were well aware of the steps and the risks. The surgery went very well. Post surgery, Dr. Praveen's associated physiotherapist, Mr. Yogesh, followed-up for weekly physiotherapy sessions (home visits) which has greatly helped with my mother's pain management as well as range of motion. She is now able to walk pain-free for the first time in two years! I thank Dr. Praveen and his team for all their help and will highly recommend him.

I had met with a major accident which ends with right leg bone broken with open skin just below the knee. As suggested by my cousin who was already had a good experience with Dr. Preveen Basanagoudar sir I went to the hospital suggest by Dr Preveen sir. Immediately he visited and explained what happend exactly to me and made 2 surgeries in 1month gap at the time of operation he was interacting with me along with his team members by giving hopes that, I'll recover back soon and normal as others. After operation even my home is too far from his clinic but he sent Dr Yogesh physiotherapist to visit my home and do physiotherapy he also guided and suggested good exercises. Now after almost 1.5 years over, I am able to walk very well. This is all because of his good care and suggestions I'll strongly recommend him for all orthopedic related problems.

I have had a Rotator cuff repair and impingement surgery with Dr. Praveen as my Doctor. Doc is very practical, knowledgeable and understanding. Very kind and helpful. Instead of giving very heavy medications he can give small practical tips to manage ur pain. He is very encouraging as the recovery in shoulder surgery is a very painful and hard process. He gives detailed instructions and also explains why u need to do it. Best thing about him is he wants his patients to be back into their normal life as soon as possible.
